It was filled with life. Happy little fish, crabs and whales lived together in harmony.
One of the greatest things in this city was an important musical shell. The shell was magical and played music all day long for all the ocean dwellers to hear. It stood in the middle of the city, majestic and beautiful and not one creature could imagine life without it.
Otto lived with his family; his mother Olga, his father Oscar and sister Olivia. They lived a happy life and Otto also spent much time with his best friend Crabby the crab.
Otto always had lots of adventures with his friend and they always went out to explore the ocean after school. However, some days Otto had violin lessons. These days he wouldn't go home straight with Crabby but he would stay at school and practice the violin.
In the beginning he really liked these classes. You see, his dream was to become a great musican like the ocopus who taught the magical shell how to make music.
But one day he just couldn't play well enough. He started learning difficult pieces that needed more practice. The more difficult it go,t the less sure he became of himself.
Did he really want to play the violin? Would it not be much more fun to go out and play with Crabby?
Then one day he got so mixed up during one of his lessons that when he went home he didn't feel like practicing for his next class. Each time he thought about his violin class he got sad remembering the mistakes he made. So, he decided to go play with crabby to get into a better mood. Maybe later he would feel up to violin practice.
So, that sunny afternoon he went to find Crabby. When they met, they decided to go visit the kelp forest not far away. There was always a possibilty of finding some great treasure there.
